# Core Contributors

Digital Native Standard LTD is a core contributor supporting the growth of Standard, led by Hyungsuk Kang. Before crypto, Hyungsuk was a researcher publishing paper regarding Internet of Things(IoT) Security with asymmetric cryptography managed by smartphones.

The team raised 3.3 million USD led by CMS holdings, it was invested by Kucoin Labs, Gate Labs, MEXC labs, 4SV, DFG, and more than 8 other capitals. The team used to make collateralized rebaseable stablecoin, liquidating CDP positions on a DEX to maintain the price peg in automated and decentralized way. \
\
However, team realized that DEX with AMM was not enough to make the stablecoin price pegged with poor design on slippage, missing limit orders, and massive capital inefficiency compared its TVL. From the learnings of DeFi's design flaws, team has decided to rebuild DeFi starting from exchanging assets with totally new approach from bottom up, even if this could risk the company's existence while others just fork.

Designing a new fully onchain central limit order book(CLOB) DEX with market suspensions, limit order management using dynamic programming, and 1000x capital efficiency compared to AMM with CEX like UX requires extensive research and determination to innovate, and focus on fundamentals. which the team has been dedicating to deliver. The team actively engages with and listens to the community; you are welcome to join the [Discord server](https://discord.gg/wUjhrZ6Jfs) to ask any questions and share feedback.

Digital Native Standard LTD has been running the company for 4 years since 2021, and has been building products to change the world with researching blockchain technology.
